Nigerian singer Yemi Alade has taken to X to express frustration with the CEOs of Clout Africa and Cool FM Nigeria, accusing them of sabotaging her music and career.

In a series of tweets, Alade shared her experience, accusing Clout Africa and Cool FM Nigeria of removing her songs from their platforms due to her non-appearance at one of their events in December 2023. Despite apologizing and reaching out to their CEOs, Serge Noujaim and Joseph Adamu, she was ignored.

Alade expressed disappointment and anger, labeling the CEOs as “fake” and “petty” and accusing them of having “audacity, pride, and ego.” She questioned their power play, stating, “You’re not gatekeepers, and you’re not God.”

Alade trusts in divine intervention, saying, “My God will fight for me… Una dey form gate keepers in 2024. My God will fight for me, and I will hold my peace.” and “God go still give me food.”

The singer concludes by demanding that Cool FM Nigeria remove her entire music catalog from their platform.
