Nigerian veteran artist Charly Boy has strongly criticized Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s apology for his previous teachings on tithing. Adeboye, leader of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), admitted his earlier statements were not biblically accurate.

Charly Boy took to social media, expressing skepticism about the apology. He demanded Adeboye return the tithes collected over the years, saying:

“Your apology means nothing unless you return the money… I believe many fake people are found in churches… Stop giving your congregation false hopes.”

Charly Boy criticized religious hypocrisy and referenced Adeboye’s past statement urging people to discard their TVs:

“Since your announcement decades ago, I knew your intentions weren’t pure… You’re as fake as the blings of a wannabe artist.”

Charly Boy’s response has sparked debate on religious leaders’ accountability and the impact of their teachings.
