Nigerian rapper, Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has criticized the ongoing social media backlash against the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, by Christian youths.

This reaction follows Adeboye facing heavy criticism on social media after reportedly stating that “Nigeria’s problems are spiritual”.

In response to the backlash against the RCCG leader, Odumodublvck pointed out that Muslims don’t insult their religious leaders the way Christians do. He emphasized that Adeboye, due to his age and position, deserves respect from Christian youths.

On his X handle, Odumodublvck expressed: “Pastor Adeboye never insulted anyone on this app. You do not see Muslims come out to insult their clerics. Then later we complain that our religion is being stepped on. Even based on age, you can’t talk to your father the way you talk to Adeboye. And he is senior to your father and mother. That’s why I never rate you guys on this app. Your double standards choke”.
