Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has sent a direct message to Russian President Vladimir Putin, declaring that he “will die soon.”
Zelenskyy made the remark during an interview with journalists in Paris after meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. His statement comes amid ongoing speculation that Putin is battling serious health issues.
“He (Putin) will die soon, and that’s a fact, and it will come to an end,” Zelenskyy said.
For years, rumors have persisted about the 72-year-old Russian leader’s health, with observations of a puffy face, twitching leg, and bloodshot eyes fueling speculation.
One notable incident in 2022 saw Putin gripping a table and slurring his words during a meeting with then-Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. Reports have also pointed to frequent coughing, involuntary jerky movements, and a limp, further intensifying concerns over his condition.
