Zenith Bank Ushers in Festive Season with Annual Ajose Adeogun Street Christmas Decorations

Zenith Bank has set the stage for the festive season with the launch of its annual Christmas decorations along Ajose Adeogun Street and Roundabout on Victoria Island, Lagos.

The Group Managing Director/Chief Executive of Zenith Bank Plc, Adaora Umeoji, officially unveiled the dazzling display on Saturday during the Light-Up ceremony, a signature Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of the bank now in its 18th year.

The decorations transform the entire stretch of Ajose Adeogun Street, home to Zenith Bank’s Corporate Headquarters, into a magical yuletide wonderland. Recognized as an iconic tourist attraction, the display draws visitors from across the country and beyond, who come with family and friends to capture the enchanting ambiance.

In a statement on Sunday, Umeoji said, “Over the years, Zenith Bank has hosted this spectacular event, transforming Ajose Adeogun Street into a breathtaking yuletide wonderland. Our elaborate decorations have become a global center of attraction shared widely on social media.

“As we light up the street tonight, we celebrate the essence of Christmas and Zenith Bank’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility. Our customers remain at the core of everything we do.”

She urged everyone to embrace the spirit of Christmas—love, kindness, generosity, and respect for humanity—and expressed gratitude to the Lagos State Government for supporting the initiative.

Umeoji also commended Quantum Markets, the team behind the decorations, for their innovation and expertise. “Quantum Markets makes it bigger and better every year, and we eagerly anticipate their creations,” she said.

In recognition of these efforts, Zenith Bank has been named the Most Sustainable Bank, Nigeria at the 2023 and 2024 International Banker Banking Awards and Most Responsible Organization in Africa at the Sustainability, Enterprise, and Responsibility Awards 2021.
