Lagos Police Command Mourns Sudden Loss of Ijanikin DPO

The Lagos State Police Command is grieving the unexpected passing of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Bolaji Olugbenga, Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ijanikin Police Station.

On Thursday evening, CSP Olugbenga suddenly collapsed in his office and was pronounced dead shortly after. The Command’s spokesperson, Superintendent of Police (SP) Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the tragic incident during a press briefing on Friday night.

Colleagues of CSP Olugbenga are deeply saddened by his untimely demise, which occurred before medical attention could be administered. A source within the division has confirmed that his body has been transferred to a mortuary.

The Lagos State Police Command has lost a dedicated and valued member, and CSP Olugbenga’s sudden passing has sent shockwaves throughout the police community.
