The Portuguese Football Federation is delighted to inform that Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., son of soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo, will play his first international match for the Portugal Under-15 national team. The match is scheduled exactly one week from today, on the 13th of May 2025, in an international friendly match against Japan.

14-year-old Cristiano Jr. has been making waves in junior football with his vision, technique, and goal-scoring, and comparisons to his father are unavoidable. Now playing in the junior ranks of Al Nassr FC, he has displayed tremendous potential and leadership on and off the pitch.

FPF Youth Director Nuno Gomes expressed his excitement: “Cristiano Jr. has earned his place through talent and hard work. We’re thrilled to see the next generation of Portuguese talent step into the spotlight.”The upcoming fixture, part of an international youth development initiative, will be held at Estádio Nacional in Oeiras and is expected to draw significant local and international attention.
