On August 17-18, 2024, the highly anticipated Afro Nation music festival took place in Detroit, USA, drawing massive crowds and showcasing some of the biggest names in Afrobeats and beyond.

Nigerian superstars Ayra Starr, Rema, Kizz Daniel, Adekunle Gold, and Asake were among the standout performers at the sold-out event. Ayra Starr captivated the audience with her hit singles and tracks from her latest album, The Year I Turned 21.

Adekunle Gold and Kizz Daniel delivered electrifying performances, treating fans to a medley of their most popular songs, further solidifying Afro Nation’s role in promoting Afrobeats on a global scale.

Rema wowed the crowd with his hit tracks, including selections from his sophomore album, HEIS, while Asake kept the energy high with performances of his chart-topping hits, including songs from his recently released third album, Lungu Boy.

The festival also featured performances by other artists, including Jamaican singer Shenseea, Detroit rapper Kash Doll, and Grammy-winning superstar Lil Wayne, who headlined the event’s second night.
