The Asuzu family has been hit with tragedy once again, following the murder of Chinedu Stanley Asuzu, brother of the late Nollywood actor Ernest Asuzu. On December 16, 2024, Chinedu was shot and killed by armed assailants at his home in Johannesburg South, South Africa.

Details surrounding the events leading up to Chinedu’s murder have been revealed by Mr. Ade, who is familiar with the case. According to Mr. Ade, Chinedu’s estranged wife, Busisiwe Sibanyoni, had a strained relationship with him and had requested to pick up their children, despite it being Chinedu’s scheduled time with them. After Chinedu handed over the children, he was fatally attacked by armed men.

The situation has become even more complicated, with reports that Busisiwe has taken control of Chinedu’s body. This development has sparked outrage, prompting Mr. Ade to call on the Nigerian community and the Nigerian embassy to intervene and ensure that justice is served for Chinedu, who leaves behind four children.
