Davido Breaks Wizkid’s Spotify Streaming Record With ‘Funds’ Single

Davido has celebrated a new milestone after his latest single, Funds, featuring Odumodublvck and Chike, set a record for the biggest first-week streams on Spotify Nigeria.

Funds amassed 4.82 million streams in its debut week, breaking the previous record of 4.72 million streams held by Wizkid’s Kese.

Music monitoring platform TheDebutHub confirmed the achievement, stating, “New record. Davido’s Funds ft. ODUMODUBLVCK & Chike breaks the record for the biggest 1st streaming week on Spotify Nigeria. Funds recorded 4.82M streams, surpassing Kese (Dance) (4.72M).”

Reacting to the news, Davido expressed his gratitude, saying, “We believe in God.”
