Secretary to the State Government, Joseph Eboigbe, made the announcement in a statement on Thursday.

Eboigbe reassured residents that comprehensive security measures are in place to ensure a free, fair, and credible election.

“The work-free day will enable workers and electorates to travel to their voting areas,” he stated.

Residents are urged to utilize this opportunity to travel and exercise their civic duty in the upcoming election.
