Fayose Mocks PDP’s Internal Crisis Says ‘Exciting Drama’

Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has expressed amusement over the ongoing internal crisis within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Fayose took to his X account to comment on the situation, saying: “PDP: It is becoming such an exciting drama. Let’s siddon dey look and see how it ends.”

His statement follows the suspension of PDP’s acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, and National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu, by a faction of the National Working Committee for alleged disloyalty.

The party has been grappling with internal strife, with factions engaging in a series of suspensions and counter-suspensions. National Publicity Secretary Debo Ologunagba announced the suspension of Damagum and Anyanwu, citing anti-party activities.

The crisis deepens as the party struggles to resolve its internal conflicts, sparking concerns about its future prospects. Fayose’s commentary underscores the intrigue surrounding the PDP’s internal power dynamics.
