A fire has occurred on a small section of the Lagos Blue Line track, located opposite the NEPA Station near the Eko Bridge in the Apogbon area of Lagos State.

Gboyega Akosile, spokesman for Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, shared details of the incident on his X.com account @gboyegakosile, noting that it took place at 4:12 p.m. on Saturday.

He reported that there were no casualties and that train services were not in operation at that time. Akosile also mentioned that a team of safety and emergency personnel, along with first responders, successfully extinguished the fire.
