According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray and Napoli have reached an agreement in principle for a one-year loan deal for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

The Turkish club has agreed to cover Osimhen’s salary as part of the deal.

However, the transfer is complicated by interest from other clubs, notably Paris Saint-Germain, who are reportedly leading the race for Osimhen’s signature.

Despite this, a delegation from Galatasaray is scheduled to meet with Osimhen in Napoli in the coming hours to finalize the loan move.

The meeting is contingent on Osimhen’s final decision, as he weighs his options. Meanwhile, Napoli have already agreed to terms with Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku as a potential replacement for Osimhen, should he depart.

The deal highlights the complex nature of transfer negotiations, with multiple clubs vying for top talent.

The outcome of the meeting between Galatasaray’s delegation and Osimhen will determine the next steps in the transfer saga.
