House of Reps order NCS to provide CCTV footage of Bobrisky at facility

The House of Representatives joint committee is investigating allegations of N15 million bribery against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCS) regarding social media influencer Bobrisky.

The committee ordered NCS Controller General Haliru Nababa to provide CCTV footage of Bobrisky’s stay in their facilities.

Martins Vincent Otse (VeryDarkMan) testified, reiterating allegations that the EFCC dropped money laundering charges against Bobrisky after receiving N15 million. He also claimed Bobrisky didn’t serve his time at the NCS.

The NCS explained that Bobrisky was moved from the Medium Correctional Centre to the Maximum Correctional Centre due to controversies surrounding his chair donation.

The EFCC maintained that they dropped charges because the facts supported naira abuse allegations, not due to financial inducements. Prosecutor Bilkisu Buhari detailed the investigation and
