A 36-year-old woman named Abiola tragically lost her life during a controversial buttocks enhancement procedure at a clinic in the upscale Lekki-Phase 1 area of Lagos State.

The incident, which has shocked the community, took place at around 3 p.m. on a seemingly ordinary Monday afternoon.

Abiola, who resided in Diamond Estate, Sangotedo, Ibeju Lekki, left her home with the intention of undergoing the cosmetic procedure. She directed her driver to take her to the clinic, where events quickly took a tragic turn.

Upon arrival, the clinic owner instructed a nurse to administer an injection to begin the procedure.

However, what was supposed to be a routine cosmetic enhancement soon turned into a nightmare.

Condition deteriorated rapidly after the injection, causing her to lose consciousness almost immediately.

Her breathing became labored and irregular, prompting the clinic staff to panic.

In an attempt to save her life, she was rushed to a hospital in Lekki Phase 1, where she was unfortunately pronounced dead.

The tragic event has sparked outrage and demands for justice. The Lagos State Police Command acted swiftly, and Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, confirmed to “PUNCH”on Wednesday that a suspect had been apprehended in connection with the incident.

Hundeyin stated, “The private driver of the deceased reported the incident to the Maroko division. Our officers visited the scene, and the body was sent to a public morgue for an autopsy.
