Pastor Yinka Yusuf Demands Apology From Soludo Over Evangelism Crackdown

Rev. Yinka Yusuf, lead pastor of Household of Love Churches Worldwide, has issued a stern ultimatum to Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo, demanding an immediate apology over what he perceives as an attack on evangelism.

The controversy began after Soludo confronted a street preacher in a market, citing the Anambra State Public Health Law of 2006, which prohibits excessive noise in public spaces. However, Yusuf has rejected Soludo’s justification and vowed to hold his next crusade in an outdoor venue in Anambra as a form of defiance.

Warning Soludo to retract his statements or face resistance, Yusuf declared that no force can silence the gospel. His reaction comes as the Anambra State government intensifies its crackdown on religious figures accused of using spirituality for deception, crime, and corruption.
