The Kano Police Command has initiated a house-to-house search operation to recover stolen items from the recent #EndBadGovernance protest in Kano.

The protest, which began peacefully, was hijacked by suspected hoodlums who engaged in widespread looting and vandalism, targeting stores, houses, government establishments, and public property.

The police have arrested over 400 suspects and recovered some of the stolen items.

According to social media updates, police officers have been conducting searches in areas such as Yakasai and Durumin Zungura, recovering looted items from individuals who participated in the theft.

The Kano Police Command has reaffirmed its commitment to holding accountable those responsible for the mayhem and ensuring that justice is served.
