Nigerian singer Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, better known as Portable, has hit back at fellow artist Speed Darlington after being invited to perform at his upcoming concert.

Speed Darlington, whose real name is Darlington Okoye, reached out to Portable for a performance at his event on April 13. However, Portable swiftly rejected the invitation, mocking Speed Darlington for thinking he could secure his presence on stage.

In his response, Portable accused Speed Darlington of attempting to use his name for publicity, insisting that he was far above his level. He also took shots at the rapper’s image, stating, “I’m not a tout like you. I’m a hero, a superstar, a celebrity. I perform everywhere, in London, in America.”

Setting his price, Portable demanded a fee of ₦20 million for the show. He also alleged that Speed Darlington had previously messaged him on Instagram, claiming to offer ₦500 million.

Portable further warned Speed Darlington about his approach, emphasizing that he does not associate with people he considers financially unstable.
