The highly anticipated matchup between Barcelona and Bayern Munich lived up to its billing, with Robert Lewandowski and Harry Kane leading the charge. Hansi Flick’s Bayern side faced off against his former team in a contest that showcased two of Europe’s most storied clubs.

Barcelona struck early, with Raphinha capitalizing on Bayern’s disorganized defense to score past Manuel Neuer within the first minute. The big-name strikers then took center stage.

Harry Kane headed the ball past Inaki Pena, but the goal was disallowed due to offside. Undeterred, Kane scored a legitimate equalizer, only to see Lewandowski put Barcelona back in front after 36 minutes. Raphinha added a stunning third goal just before halftime.

The second half maintained the intense pace, with Bayern starting strong. However, Raphinha sealed his hat-trick in the 56th minute, controlling a diagonal pass from Lamine Yamal with his chest and effectively ending the contest.

Dermot Corrigan, Michael Cox, and Mark Carey provide in-depth analysis of this sensational game.
