In a turn of events, the feud between Fuji music legend King Saheed Osupa and controversial street-pop artist Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has officially been resolved amicably outside the courtroom.

According to a statement credited to Portable and confirmed by popular showbiz promoter Kehinde Adegbite, a.k.a. Mallam Yankee, the CEO of Yankee Entertainment (Portable’s current management), the parties reached an understanding during a virtual meeting. The resolution marks an end to weeks of tension, public outbursts, and legal threats that drew widespread media attention.

King Saheed Osupa, in a display of maturity and leadership, opted to treat the matter as a “father and son” issue, choosing peace over continued legal confrontation. This act of reconciliation has been applauded by fans and industry players alike.

Mallam Yankee extended his gratitude to several high-profile figures who played key roles in mediating the dispute, including music veterans Daddy Showkey and Pasuma Wonder, entertainment mogul Abu Abel, Sheikh Labeeb, music executive Bankulli, Dr. Ezekiel Adamu, Bankhead, and many others.

This resolution follows Osupa’s earlier press release where he announced the withdrawal of a lawsuit against Portable, citing compassion and public pleas, while also laying down certain conditions for the settlement.

With this latest development, both artists are expected to move forward on peaceful terms, reinforcing the value of dialogue and community in the entertainment industry.
