In an official statement, Senator Ned Nwoko has categorically denied rumors of planning to marry Nollywood actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife. The statement, released by his office, described the claims as “baseless” and “malicious speculation.”

The senator’s office also dismissed reports that he made statements about Tuface and polygamy, labeling them as “completely untrue.” The statement highlighted that as a public figure, Senator Nwoko is often the subject of fabricated stories by attention-seeking bloggers.

The statement urged the public to disregard the rumors and rely solely on official statements from Senator Nwoko’s office. It also cautioned media practitioners about the consequences of spreading fake news.

This denial comes on the heels of Chika Ike’s previous denial of the marriage rumors, stating that she is not ready to become anyone’s wife. Meanwhile, Senator Nwoko’s wife, Regina Daniels, appears to be unfazed by the rumors, recently sharing a carefree post on social media.
