In a heartfelt Instagram post, Nigerian singer Spyro shared his personal struggle with fornication and his subsequent decision to embrace celibacy.

He confessed that although sex initially brought him pleasure, it was soon overshadowed by feelings of guilt and unease, particularly since he wasn’t married to his partners.

After a period of inner turmoil, Spyro found the strength to disentangle himself from such relationships, crediting his decision to prayer and a desire for spiritual growth.

He acknowledged that maintaining his commitment to celibacy has been challenging, especially when faced with tempting situations while traveling and encountering promoters who test his resolve.

Despite these obstacles, Spyro remains steadfast in his choice, declaring his intention to reserve his bed for his future partner.

In a lighthearted moment, he joked about the potential difficulty of maintaining his commitment if someone like Nengi were to come along, but ultimately affirmed his decision, saying “no going back.”
