Verydarkman, a prominent social media commentator, has made a surprising reversal, apologizing to human rights lawyer Femi Falana and retracting earlier defamation allegations.

The controversy stemmed from an audio release featuring Bobrisky discussing his dealings with the EFCC during his money laundering prosecution. Verydarkman’s initial response sparked a social media frenzy involving Femi Falana, his son Falz, and the EFCC.

Femi Falana’s representatives issued a statement demanding a retraction and warning of potential legal action. In response, Verydarkman posted an Instagram video clarifying his stance:

“I never defamed and will never defame Femi Falana. I only reacted to Bobrisky’s allegations… I choose not to believe Femi Falana would be associated with that, and if so, I would be disappointed.”

Verydarkman’s apology and retraction aim to diffuse the situation, emphasizing his respect for Femi Falana while calling for an investigation into Bobrisky’s allegations.
