Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Iyabo Ojo recently confessed that she had been invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over what transpired at her daughter Priscilla Ojo’s wedding. The invitation, according to the actress, was over the act of “spraying” money that was done at the costly ceremony.

In a public statement, Iyabo Ojo expressed her willingness to cooperate fully with the anti-graft agency, saying that her visit was not an arrest but a formal invitation aimed at clearing her name in the widely circulated video of the incident.

“I was invited by the EFCC on the issue of money spraying at my daughter’s wedding. I accepted their invitation and gave them the responses I had to the best of my ability,” Ojo stated. “I respect their position and comply with the laws of the nation. There was no bad intention in our celebration – it was a joyful family celebration based on cultural tradition.”
