Amid the ongoing controversy involving Burna Boy and Ama Reginald, Sophia Egbueje has taken to Snapchat to share a cryptic message, seemingly addressing the situation.

She wrote:

“The smartest move you’ll ever make is walking away from the chaos you never should’ve entertained in the first place. Not every battle is yours. Not every mess is worth cleaning up. Protect your peace, and let fools play their own games.”

The post has fueled speculation that she is distancing herself from the scandal, which has dominated social media in recent days.

The drama erupted after a leaked 40-minute audio recording surfaced online, allegedly featuring Sophia Egbueje expressing frustration over her dealings with Burna Boy. In the recording, she claimed that in 2024, her former close friend Ama Reginald and Burna Boy’s associate, King Manny, persuaded her to meet the singer, promising she would receive a Lamborghini in return.

Initially hesitant, Sophia reportedly agreed after recalling Burna Boy’s past generosity, including gifting a Rolls Royce Cullinan to his ex-girlfriend, Stefflon Don. However, she claimed that after their encounter, Burna Boy stopped communicating with her and failed to fulfill his alleged promise.

The controversy has also highlighted tensions between Sophia and Ama, who were once known for their close friendship. In the leaked audio, Sophia expressed feelings of betrayal, suggesting that Ama had played a role in the situation. The incident has led to speculation that their friendship has ended.
